Attempting to email out using home security

I've got my X10 system set up with a macro that's supposed to send a couple emails when a sensor is triggered, but even just attempting to test the macro doesn't send an email.  I also never got an email sent when trying to email an invitation, despite the fact that it shows that the email is sent.

I can send emails normally using Outlook Express, which is set as the defualt mail client.  Anyone have any ideas for this?
