is there anyway to control other nonx10 wireless devices with x10? such as ceiling fans that already has a remote or non x10 wireless security systems

How difficult and / or expensive it will be will depend on exactly what you have.   ???

things like ceiling fans i have remotes 4 and i have a lux programable thermostat that came with a remote...and im thinking about buying a remote operated deadbolt....its there anyway to control them with x10

Thanks for the additional information.  We also need to know for each of these which is IR (infra red) and which is RF (radio frequency).

I've done some more research and I may have to apologize for raising false hopes.  While there are both send RF functions and and an extended code function in AHP there is no extended code RF function which might have allowed you to hack the commands you needed.  Since there are various add ons available for X10 perhaps someone more familiar with them could chime in with a suggestion.

thx 4 trying oldtimer ive search the forums for like 4 hours looking yesterday and found nottA except how to sorta control my secuity system with powerflasher im surprised i cant find something on the fans i know fan remotes have been out a while....it would be nice to be able to control everything wireless with x1o tho
