X10 had an exodus of talent some months ago
and also let go of some of the top
performers in the tech service division go
in bogus layoffs. It appears that they have
been unable to revover and are using plastic
wrap to cover a sucking chest wound. If the
X10 service technology is failing ' Our
computers are down" how can you expect
anything from the product they produce. I
would imagine that X10 support is the
standard call center churn and burn, no
loyalty from the staff and no caring from
the management as long as you the consumer
keep buying crap made in China by X10 sold
to X10 and not supported by X10.

Do a web search for 'X10 Wireless Technology
lawsuit' and 'X10 Wireless Technology
bankruptcy'. I suspect they are
still "recovering" from these issues.

Ok, Ok, I believe you. I'm in serious need
of home security and surveilance equipment,
and not too good with the technical stuff,
at least with X-10. Where do I turn? I'm
also very interested in home automation.

Ok. guys..what is the simple fix to
installMV and WV and have them start..you
know at least see the MV screen display. I
have installed MV on desktop and WV on
laptop.
Both --both these programs crash on both
computors. They do not open up to show the mv
and wv window.
Pan tilt works- Pantiltproser , still have
issue, can not connect , freezes.. Xray works.
Xray remote works. Did not try email or
motion sensor opts , yet..Just want to get a
good install of MV and WV.
Any help appreciated.
KNow where to find THE PORTS that may be
important!

Not saying that anyone in here is wrong, I
believe every word. I ordered a system, got
it, works fine. Whenever I have a question I
use live chat and they answer promptly. Won't
be making any huge purchases off this place.

Joel
I have to say I like what I got so far but
I am looking where I step before I buy
more. Don't want to be wiping my foot off
on the curb.

Hello Everyone,
I'm in the same boat with the lack of
support. I'm currently working on several
projects and over the last 2 months I have
e-mailed, called and tried to live chat
with zero success on several occassions. E-
mails have gone unanswered, calls were on
hold for 20 + min. only to leave message
for return call that never happened and the
live chat says they can only answer pre-
sales questions. I even have a large order
I need to return and can't get in touch
with anyone to find out how to return and
get a refund for the products. Ironic that
they can take your money and ship products
in less than a day but can't post
information on there website on how to
return a product for a refund. I've been
odering from X-10 for over 5 years and
never had the problems as of late. My most
recent order will surely be my last. Sad,
sad, sad.

For the life of me I just don't understand
why so very few of you are having so much
trouble. I am returning a pan-tilt unit and
have had NO trouble in gettiing RMA# andI
am sure I well get a new one back very fast.
As to x10's chapter 11, well it's not the
first company and I am sure it won't be the
last one. Chrystler

Customer Service at X10...what's that. I
bought a camera off e-bay from X10. Payment
was made immediate... Shipping has been
messed up and "Customer Support" has been
what appears to be confused about the entire
situation.
