Yes Vanguard and now myhouse.x10.com are DOWN. X10 expect to be repaired by Dec 26.

Mods: this will be removed when users can connect to their systems again.

Zach 1234, how do you know this?

Since you do not work for X10, I'm interested in hearing about the facts to your statement.

Of course I don't work at X10. Would x10 let people know thin info. I had to call x10 about the vanguard's server being down, then I was told (leaked) this info. It is "supposed" to be fixed by tomorrow. I think X10 needs to get a new server. Also you don't have to point out the obisous.  ;D

Where do we send our "complaints" / "concerns" to X10.  This is completely unacceptable service.   The time we need myhouse the most (ie. over Xmas when many of us are away from home!)  It's down for 5-7?? days and still isn't operational!

I've found LogMeIn.com to be better (and less frustrating) than MyHouse.  It's a free and secure remote control service to your PC - and you can do so much more, like restart AHP, edit macros, just like you're sitting there.

I've been using it for a month with no outages yet.

Thanks for that alternative.  I am going to try that.  I am really tired of messing with MyHouse.  Do you know if there are any issues about using logmein.com when there is a corporate firewall in place?

Actually it's funny you mentioning that - As of yesterday I directed the network & security folks to do an assessment.  Our firewalls are very tight, yet I have no problems  - but I could see potential issues if one expanded past the "FREE" level's capabilities.
