I just got a new wireless XCam2 wireless camera.  I already have 2 wireless cameras, one black and white and one color.  I am using AHP and a VA11A.  The b&w is HC C1, the color is HC C2.  The third (new) camera I tried to use HC C3.  When I look at this new camera in ahp, I see the b&w on HC C1.  I even tried to set the new camera to HC F3.  The same thing happens.  If I unplug the HC C1 camera, I can see the new camera.  But, as soon as I plug it back in, I get the same picture on both cameras again.  Does anyone have any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?

Could you have forgot to add the camera in AHP before putting it on-line?

I have had this problem when one of the cams are to close to the wireless receiver. Try a test, relocate the HC C1 cam. You also have to make sure the power is cut off to each cam as you switch to the next cam.

I think I did plug the camera in before I added it to AHP.  I tried deleting and re-adding it, but I think it was still plugged in.  So, I have to actually add it to AHP before it is plugged in?  Also, the receiver is upstairs while all of the cameras are downstairs.  The cameras I am having a problem with are on the same side of the house, one is inside and the new one is outside.  Also, the new camera is plugged into a GFCI outlet and I am using an extension cord, but I did plug the new camera directly into the wall and I still had the same problem?  Then other one is plugged into a regular outlet.  I'd rather not move the original camera since it has been screwed into the wall and it is working well.

I think bogie is correct here. It appears you B&W camera isn't turning off (for whatever reason). You don't need to actually move the camera, but try moving it's power source. A nice extention cord should work.

I will try moving the power source.  One question, is AHP supposed to automatically shut off the camera when you switch from one camera to another?

Actually, the cameras own addressable power modules do that. The concept is [that] the cameras should be set in a group of four.

As an example: Cameras would be set as (House/Unit Codes) A1, A2, A3, A4. (or A5, A6, A7, A8 ... or 9 through 12 or 13-16). These are the groups of four. Of course any house code can be used.

Any camera power source that receives an ON signal sends an OFF signal to the remainder of the group of four. So turning any camera ON, turns the others OFF.

I found out something interesting.  I finally got the new camera to work.  It seems I cannot use the tabs to scroll through the cameras in AHP.  If I actually close one camera then open another, I can see each camera.  Thanks for your help.
