If you call a dog, he comes running with excitement. You call a cat and you get a look that says "Have your people get with my people...."

no haven't met your cat, but  they are all the same. You meet one, you have met them all ( our female follows me around like a dog, which I mistaken took for decidedly non feline behavior.  I was later taught (by her) that the attachment stemmed soley for her  interest in the things I "play" with (wires, screws, things that roll, etc.).
