NO! And I gotta write this down so I will remember it( yeah, I'm at that age). Does that behavior come from sled pulling?

no haven't met your cat, but  they are all the same. You meet one, you have met them all ( our female follows me around like a dog, which I mistaken took for decidedly non feline behavior.  I was later taught (by her) that the attachment stemmed soley for her  interest in the things I "play" with (wires, screws, things that roll, etc.). 
"This aftershave makes me look fat"
