I would like to know if anyone has any ideas on the operation on the ws467. I have two of them and one worked for a short time and the other one will only turn on now ( it use to work fine) I changed both units and same thing. I installed two phase couplers at different areas of the house and no difference. I have seven other modules ( no other ws467 units) and all work fine. I have had no other problems with any other modules what so ever except the ws467. The one unit is using a 75 watt incandesent bulb (the one that will only turn on) and the other one uses a 300 watt halogen bulb. Thanks for any ideas or tips.

OK, as wierd as it sounds, make sure the bulbs are tight in the socket. If that don't work, search the forum for "noise". Have you gotten any new electronics lately? Also, think about an amplifier coupler instead of the passive units.

I bought some companion switches PCW03 to go with my WS467 because:



am I reading it wrong?

Or can I just not figure out how to hook up a companion switch with a WS467 to make a 3-way?

Help please....

MeThinks the WS467 is not a 3-way switch. You would need a WS477 which has an extra lead on it called the travler wire. That should work with the PCW03 that you have.

I second that. The WS467 is not for a three way setup. No control wire for a trigger.

The advertisement for the companion switch is wrong - it will definitely NOT work with a WS467.  You should either get your money back or else replace the WS467 with a module designed for 3-way operation.

Note: Installation of X10 3-way modules require that you have the same house wiring, i.e., the additional traveller wire, which is necessary for mechanical 3-way switches.

I've concluded these new WS467 are not optimally working with the AHP and CM15A. I'm going to try a leviton wall switch and see how that works out for me. I've seen too many people having problems with these. I wish I had of done the research on them before getting 5 of them.

For me they do seem to work well from remote control, but they do have buggy behavior like turing on 90% dimmed, and not working with timers correctly.
