Is this weather proof? Here in Michigan, it can get cold. Thanks.

swozi Welcome to the boards. I live in Ohio along the northcoast. I have multiple Ninjas outside for over a year all all work as good as the day they where installed. The only recommendation I have is if you get freezing rain don't use them until the ice is off of them. You could damage the gears if the unit is locked up by ice.

KDR - Do you have the power supply outside? I'm thinking I should try and have it inside. Thanks for the reply.

Many users have the power supply outside just protect it from the elements! ;)
Mine is located under an overhanging addition!
Others have reported mounting it in a plastic encloser along with the outlet box! ;)

Mine are inside. The outlets they plug into are very close to where the wire comes into the house with out extending it.

Here's a Tip. If you need to extend the power wire you can buy a standard 1/8" stereo extention cable.
