The UM506 used in Cold Weather

Does anyone use the Universal Module, UM506, in cold weather? I have 2 units in a detached garage and when it gets down around 35 degrees the internal switch solenoid won't work or works every now and then?

I have tried 4 different modules and they all respond the same way. I may try using some type of light weight oil on the moving parts to lube the mechanical part of the switch, may work. Any other ideas for fixing this problem?
