Activity Monitor
« on: October 06, 2007, 11:22:48 AM »

I was reviewing the activity monitor and saw a recorded entry "Extended data Transfer" This is a log item that I have never seen before. Does anybody know what that means?

Some X10 modules take advantage of the X10 protocol's feature that allows "freeform" data about the module's status or specific information about what setting the controller would like the module to take to be sent and received.

Since AHP doesn't even attempt to decode most of this, it simply logs an "Extended data transfer".

In the real world, the only constant is change.
