DS7000 Arming
« on: October 13, 2007, 05:57:53 PM »

I have some DS7000 questions.

1. If a ds10a hasn't reported into the DS7000, is it possible to arm the DS7000 without pressing the bypass on the console? Is there a way to bypass a zone using just the remote?

2.  If I have a DS10A inside of a utility trailer in my driveway and then move the trailer out of range, what happens if the DS7000 is armed?  Will it go off or just act like the DS10A hasn't reported in in awhile?

3.  If I then move the utility trailer back into range, will the DS7000 re-establish contact with the trailer's DS10A or do I have to press the test button on the DS10A to get the DS7000 to recognize it again?

Thanks

No.

The LED on the console will flash after it has not reported in within 4 hours, but it will not trigger the alarm if ARMed.

As long as the DS10A did not lose its memory (i.e. security code) it should clear the flashing LED on the console when it reports back in.
