Hi, this X10 system I have works great except for one problem.  I can individually turn things on/off and it works great!  However, the "All lights on/off" switches don't work at all.  I am using the X10 Powerhouse IR543 Command Module.  Please advise on what I can do.  Thanks!

You are talking about the buttons on the console itself or a remote through the IR543?
The modules in question are they lamp or appliance types?
Recent purchase? X10 recently changed the lamp modules and wall switches and that data may help us in your problem.

The buttons on the console, I have yet to program a remote.
They are appliance types.  I just purchased them last week from amazon.

Appliance modules don't support the All_Lights_On command - that's only for Lamp modules.  The All_Units_Off should work however, at least it works for my IR543.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.

That's true even if one has a lamp plugged into the appliance module.  I guess that distinction might not be apparent to beginners.

Wish I had looked into it more before buying the modules.  Well I guess ill have to return and buy new ones.  Anyways, thanks for the answers!
