motion recording not working

I have the 4 camera system kit with the usb transciever and video input for the pc.  I have all the cameras set as A1,a2,a3,a4.  One camera seems to work almost all the time for motion activated recording while non of the others will.  They sometimes will randomly activate and record but, its a dice roll.  The view will switch from time to time though.  This software is driving me insane.  Can someone recommend something to get this working or another product that actually works as advertised.  HELP PLEASE!

crickets in the background?  Awesome...  Seems that a 3rd party program called digiwatch has no problem working so it falls back to what i originally thought.  Horrible software that x10 puts out and doesn't support awesome product.....
