Date-based timers firing outside of date range (AHP 3.203)
« on: April 23, 2006, 12:26:52 PM »

As the subject line indicates, using AHP 203, I've set up a timer that is only supposed to fire between sept 15th and april 15th. Well, the timer has continued to fire outside that range (i.e. this whole past week). In the Timer Designer summary window, I see "Start at 9:00 AM, September 15 to April 15" and the box is checked. I do not have "Store in Interface" checked as my computer is always on. I have tried clearing the interface, disconnecting it from the PC and power with no batteries, and plugging it back in. Nothing seems to work.

Any thoughts?

I'll give this a try. Is it a macro that you have the timer set for?

Yes, it's a morning dim up macro that I only want to run during the winter months. So, the macro is triggered by a timer which has a date range applied to it.

Just to be clear, are you triggering the macro in any other way and expecting it not to run?

Nope, the macro is triggered exclusively by a timer. It's on house code K, which I reserve for all automated macros. So, the timer is set to trigger K16 (Bedside Morning Dim Up Macro) at 6:30 between Sept 15th and April 15th. However, the timer still triggers the macro after April 15th.

I've reproduced this here. We'll fix it.

Thanks for looking into this, and addressing it so quickly. Any idea when the next update will be available?

Does it have anything to due with wrapping to the next year?

I am also getting this - all "Date Range" Macros fire outside of date range and I'm on 3.206.
Hasn't it been fixed?
