Firing DS7000 with AHP
« on: December 29, 2007, 03:35:42 PM »

Is it possible to trigger the DS7000 with a signal from AHP?  How could one signal an external relay from AHP to trigger a window unit?
Thanks,
George

Wiring in a Universal Module (UM506) between one of the wires going to a door/window sensor and it's magnetic switch should do it. All you would have to do.... is turn the module OFF.

But.... I would think there should be a simpler way....

If you construct a macro with 5 or 6 Security Light (same code as the DS7000) "ON" and "OFF" signals separated by 1 second delays you can set off the DS7000.
