Wireless Garage Park Kit

In all the ads for this (http://www.x10.com/promotions/driveway_kit_ps_1128.html), there appears to be something coming out of the motion detector that is restricting the range to more of a 90 degree angle on one side to detect a car in the garage for "perfect parking".  What is that thing restricting the vision of the detector?  I need that!  Thanks!

A  piece of cardboard,wood or plastic!
Note: taping of that side of the sensor will also work!

Hope that helps get your setup working the way you like!
You may need to experiment with size of cardboard or tape to get everything just right!
