I can only get the send command portion to
work. ("snedplc", "A1 on")   Anyone out
there utilize LabView and X10 to get status
of the devices or recieve rf inputs?

Rich, I use LabVIEW too, and I have just
purchased a CM15A and plan to write my own
software, so keep this link going if you're
interested in ideas, etc. I wrote a VI that
works with the older CM11A (no activeX
though) but I don't think it will work on
the CM15 USB. It uses direct bit by bit
communication on the RS232 port.

I have written a LabVIEW driver for the AHP
SDK.  You can find an old revision of this
driver at:

http://www.x10.webhop.org/AH_LabVIEW.zip

I will try to get my updated version up there
soon.

Using the ActiveX control in LabView is actually pretty easy, although if you've never used ActiveX controls in LabView the first try can be a little frustrating. It certainly would have been nicer to have a standard DLL.

Anyway, I've attached a LabView 8.2 VI to turn an appliance module on & off to this post. I had to change the extension from ".vi" to ".jpg" in order to get the forum to allow the file to upload. To use it, you should just need to change that extension back to ".vi" and open it in the LabView environment.

You do, of course, need the SDK installed on the machine which you are running LabView on.
