I just added an EagleEye outside my front door.  It is the farthest-away sensor from my CM15A.  The CM15A gets the RF signal only about 1 in 10 times.  Will a TM751 help in any way getting the signal to the CM15 and AHP?

I've added the extension to the CM15A's antenna.  Other than modding the CM15A, what can I do to jump the range?  Are there RF REPEATERS OR AMPLIFIERS?

With the distance from my CM15A to my sensor and the fact that my front door is metal, I have to use a transceiver. I just happened to have around the RR501 so that's what I used.  I don't know if the TM751 is any better.
It's best not to have CM15A transceive the same house code as the RR501 or the TM751.

Yes but I'll have to let someone else comment on that. The one I have didn't seem to make much difference in my application. I was trying to boast the RF transmit  signal of the CM15A. (The CM15A has a separate transmit antenna inside it's box. - Why X10 thinks the CM15A needs a smaller antenna for its transmission I'll never understand.)

You can extend the transmit range of the xxxxxEye with a simple antenna mod which doesn't even require opening the case.

It's best not to have CM15A transceive the same house code as the RR501 or the TM751.

It's my understanding that the RR501 has collision detection, and the TM751 does not.  IOW, the RR501 will hold off sending a transmission over the power line if it it sees another x10 transmission at the same time (such as from the CM15A).

I had a similar situation about a year ago--same hardware and an extended antenna on my CM15A.  My EagleEye (don't remember the model # either) was mounted directly above my aluminum garage door.  With the door open, the RF passed just fine.  With the door closed, it wouldn't work.

I plugged a RR501 just inside the side of the door a few feet from the floor on an extension cord--it picks up my motion sensor's signal & passes it onto the powerline.

It's true! The RR501 is called the "polite" transceiver.

Should not AHP see the H5 signals?  And wouldn't they be coming in via the wireline and the CM15A?

I can't say what your problem is... maybe a faulty TM751.. maybe your CM15A is set NOT to receive or monitor the "H" code.

Yes. Yes.

Even if the CM15A & TM751 are on the same phase, there could still be a noise source or signal sucker somewhere in the electrical path between the two.

Don't forget to check your activity monitor to see if it shows the signal (either RF or PLC).

You may have a faulty TM751 as Dave_x10_L stated,  a friend has one that will not send any powerline signals!
Or as Puck stated you may have a noise source or signal sucker somewhere in the electrical path.
Both can be tested for but only the  noise source or signal sucker can be fixed!
Try another module set to the same house code as the TM751. With a simple lamp plugged into it move it to different locations and test!
Use a remote to trigger and try a different unit number other then 5 or 1 as well?

Sensor is EagleEye - "H1"

In activity monitor:

Receive RF     H1 On                 - means  the CM15A received the RF from the sensor - right?
Receive         H1 On (MS Stairs) - means the CM15A received the wireline signal - right?
Receive         H5 On (MS Front Door) - with no "Receive RF" means the signal got transceived by the TM751, right?

The CM15A picks up the RF from H1.  It doesn't from H5.....

Anyhow - I think it's working...the chime is going off.
