Texecom alarm panel & x-10
« on: April 20, 2008, 03:12:06 AM »

Has anyone out there tried to and or achieved a connection between the Texecom Premier intruder alarm panel range via it's optional X10 module to a mains interface? The company sells the module but not the interface or the switching devices - something which is not obvious until you buy/get the module (clever sales technique). The leaflet with the module states that a mains interface XM10U or XM10E should be used but I cannot find any reference to the XM10E other that it is - or seems to be - a DSC Intruder alarm panel. Any information would be of great help.
Thanks

Actually doing a Google search will turn up a lot of info on both devices! ;)
Both devices connect to a 240V power point and  a telephone line connects it to the control system

Designed to connect third–party hardware such as alarm controllers and home automation systems (for example the Leopard Controller, Ocelot, Inhep Alarm Systems, Rain 8 Irrigation controller etc) to X10.
Neither seem to be designed for the North American market! :(
