Vangaurd VK77A & X10 XX18A in AHP

I have a 7 camera set-up with all cameras working properly.  When I add the Vangaurd it dominates the video receiver and I am unable to view other cameras.  When I switch from the Vangaurd to a different camera the vangaurd turns off momentarily then back on again.   All X10 Cams are set in the C-series i.e. C3,C4,C5,C6 etc.  The Vangaurd is set at A1. (in AHP) according to manual that is the default.
How do I turn off the Vangaurd from AHP? To view other cams
