Door/Window Sensor not working properly

I just installed our system.  All of the Door/Window Sensors are working properly except one.  My front door sensor's LED flashes when you open the door and trips the alarm when you press Test.  However, when you arm the system, opening the door does not trip the alarm.  I have reinstalled the sensor but it still does not trip the alarm when you open the door.  Any ideas?

Hi Omugs and welcome to the forums

I would try two things to ensure you do not have a bad sensor:

1) replace the batteries even though they be new, reprogram that sensor to your security consel then test

2) move a sensor you know works properly to the problem area and test it, if that one works then put the old sensor from the door, where you took the new one from and test it there.

If that doesn't fix the problem let us know what type console you have and if you are using AHP or not.
