cr14a remote for I watch out
« on: April 26, 2008, 08:01:37 PM »

I have one camera. CR14A remote buttons "C2", "C3", "C4" "sweep", and "scan" buttons turn on x10 lights in the house instead of operating the ninja P&T. The "Center" and the blue buttons in the upper circle work OK. The lights will only turn off with the AHP software, my palm pad remotes will not turn them off if they are turned on via the camera remote.

Could you give more details.
Like what X10 addresses the camera and problem devices are set to.
Also the lights are they standard incandescent or a newer power saving type like compact fluorescent.

The house code is the letter "O" and the unit codes I have tried are 4 and 7. The lights are incandescent. I have had interference with several house codes in the past. It appears that there are numerous systems nearby. I even have outlets in my house that will not "see" my system. Through experience I have found this house code and this outlet with the least problems.
The camera works good even if it is not an X10 manufactured device.

From your description, it appears you also have a noise problem.  You may need noise filters.  TVs and Computers are major noise producers.  Check the X10 site for types of noise filters available.
