whacked out video

I thought I was going to be the exception.  Everything has been working fine. No trouble logging on after port forwarding.  Just once in a while I have to disconnect and immediatly reconnect a few times. All of a sudden my video is out of sync or something of that nature. The top edge looks ok but the rest is random video bands changing color.    Locally it looks good.  And with logmein it looks good.  Any ideas?
