Hello,
I've bought some of X10's security, automation, and PC to TV products.  I took some work, but am happy with them.  I'm now looking to try some cameras.  I have one floodlight and 3 porch lights.  I'm not an electronics guru, but have put in some dimmer switches and such.  The wireless cameras still need power, so will they work on with the existing floodlight/porch light wiring?
Thanks in advance!

All the cams come with a wallwart type adaptor plug so an outlet is required for power! ;)

Are the floodlight cameras an option?  They looked like wiring versus adapter plug.

The flood cams are an option, but do your home work on these as many users have had problems getting them to work reliably! ;) Doing an advanced search will turn up many posts on these cams!

I have one FloodCam - I've "adjusted" it 12,786 times and worn out 2 step-ladders since November.  It now has a piece of masking tape over its motion sensor and is activated via a gate switch (DS10A) and/or an EagleEye (MS14A) - through macros.  It now serves my intended purpose just fine!

I would NOT buy the FloodCam again - I'd try a motion-sensitive flood and a separate camera.

Thanks, I'll go down a different route then floodcams.  From reading other posts, not sure if wireless is what I want either.  So now I'm looking at x10 wired cameras.  Let's say I figure out how to set up the camera and get the wire through my attic, down my wall, and by my computer.  What software and equipment would I need to get mutiple cameras to be viewed from my computer?  Could it record from multiple cameras at once?
