Obvious user enhancements:

  • Finally linked the help file with the menu.
  • The help file is now part of the BVC download and install.

*** BVC Version 0.3.0.0 update released! ***
Just in time for Halloween!
(Okay, so, a couple months early is better than a couple of months late!)

Finally BVC can play all of those scary sounds and songs that you couldn't get converted to .wav audio format!

Version 0.3.0.0:

Obvious user enhancements:

  • Added support for any audio file format supported by Windows Media Player (requires that you have Windows Media Player installed and working).
  • Changed the audio file selection dialog to include all of the supported audio file formats (defaults to *.wav if BVC can't find Windows media player).

Not-so-obvious internal enhancements:

  • Fixed the selection of random files from a folder so that only supported file types get selected (it was selecting from all (*.*) file types, which could cause very strange results).
  • The usual automatic and transparent conversion of the previous version's user settings to the current format.

Not-so-obvious internal enhancements:
The usual automatic and transparent conversion of the previous version's user settings to the current format.

Very COOL Bill. (And you pounded that out in less than what.. a week.. or three years.) So in non-geek this means I can update and then... I can add MP3 sounds to my audio list... right?

And, if someone doesn't remember (or didn't save) the required password for updates... they should email you with the same email (address/name) that they used when they purchased BVC.

P.S.  This is very cool stuff.
