DIALING MORE THAN 12 DIGITS
« on: July 03, 2008, 10:31:18 PM »

Hello, I live outside USA (Mexico) and to be able to call a cell phone here I need to dial 13 digits, it seems from what I have read, that the x-10 powerhouse can only dial 12 digits, Is there a way to dial more?. Has someone done this before?

Thanks a lot for your help  >!

The only solution I have ever come up with is to use a stand-alone auto-dialer.  The best bet is one that you can program with the phone numbers you want and listens on the phone line for a touch-tone sequence (like *21 or some such).  Then you program the alarm to dial the trigger sequence instead of the real number.

In the real world, the only constant is change.
