xps3 allon off doesnt work
« on: July 06, 2008, 07:44:56 PM »

Hi,

I try to make flash my out door light with xps3 switch(i use it because the bulb is fluoCompact) when i arm my DX7000 the only problem is the xps3 doest respond to all on all off. For the rest its work fine with a remote, from AHP and manually. By the way i got 2 other one for my ceiling fan and my 12v hallogen and they not respond either to all on all off but work fine in all other way.... Oh i forgot yes the switch from the outdoor light is on the same code as the DX7000.

Thanks for your help

My XPS3 [just did a test] responds to its address default A1 in this case. Also to A All Lights ON; A All Units off and A All Lights off.

Are the units that can control the switches on the same outlet as the DS7000. There is a chance the ones that work are on the same phase as the switches and the DS7000 is on the other phase.

Oh can the remote through the DS7000 turn them on and off or only through the CM15A as a receiver?

- I got a phase coupler and its a small bugalow so i think that part is fine.
- from my keychain remote of the ds7000 i can close it but not open it......
- it the same for the all on all off its work for closing but not for open it.....

You mean you can turn it ON but it will not then go off?
The CFL maybe making too much powerline noise when on to turn it off.
As a short test. Try a regular bulb and see it it then will go off.
Let us know the results.
