Have the 2 camera wireless system, with transciever, commander, remote and eagle eye.

Here is situation-

All works well if I do NOT have eagle eye and commander hooked up.

When they are hooked up, the eagle eye picks up motion, recording starts and the the TV screen goes blue.

If I stop recording screen stays blue (no signal) until I unplug / replug the camera power supply-the pictiure for that camera returns. The other camera works fine.

Once the motion detector camera goes to blue screen the remote does not turn it on-onlly the unlug routine works.

I think commander is programed correctly as the VCR goes to record and stops , but does not record anything (blue screen syndrome)

Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you need to go through "setup" on the VCR. Often times the "default position" for the VCR is channel 3. If your using the VCR for recording only.... channel 3 would be a "blue screen" as there isn't a program on 3.

What addresses are you using for the cameras and the motion sensor is set to?
Did you disable the Dusk Dawn feature of the MS16?
X10 cameras work in groups of 4 Commone House Code and Units 1-4;5-8;9-12 and 13-16. An on signal to any one of the four in the group turns off the other three. It is possible the motion sensors code is turning off the camera. So giving us the address you are using for all the devices will help.

Will check out vcr again but I think it is right

Dusk dawn not enabled (24 hour on)

Using D1 for the motion senser cam and D2 for the other-

Will play with this while wife is cutting lawn today

Other question-how do I mute the transciever beep--

Only good thing about driving the wife crazy.... at least with the price of gas... The mileage is generally good.

Dusk Dawn off or only detect if dark? If the dusk dawn feature is enabled. When it gets dark; D2 On will be sent and D2 Off when it gets light. Thus the camera may turn on and off at funny times if set to D2.

Thanks for all the help--I think I got it--reprogramed the eagle eye for the home and unit the rest of the stuff had and I think it works.

Finally go it working right-

Trick was to move second cam to a different plug and line. 

Actually, this allows better cam placement as well.

Sounds like the original place that camera was in. Had a power line signal problem to the outlet.
If you find more problam outlets we have some good troubleshooting threads and a few web sites with good data also.
