I have installed the basic camera to the VCR and then to the TV monitor and it works fine. I set up the Eagle Eye motion detector. When I attempt to make the Video Commander to learn infrared, I can't get it to work. In step 2, I am supposed to press hold the power button until the red light is sold - it never stops flashing. Unless I can get it to stay on solid, I cannot get the VCR programmed to work.

I also have trouble getting the EagleEye MS14A to work with the receiver unit.

I have gone to the website settingĀ  up and learning page and have followed instructions for the Video Commander Infrared learning. I would appreciate any assistance.
Thanks, John

Try it in a dimly illuminated room, making sure the "learning eye" is not pointed towards a window, lamp,  or other source of IR.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.

Also... remember to UN-plug the IR emitters. The Commander can't learn with them in.
