OK   I have mapped out my house electrical circuits. I have now a better view of my problem areas. So with three XPPF filters I was able to achieve 100% reliability with the palmpad remote. Still hit and miss with AHP. AHP crashed three times this week with the BSD stating something wrong with x10uif.sys. So, I did a reinstall of AHP 3.236 on Wednesday and it is now Saturday and still stable. Back to my hit and miss, I discovered when cooking(220V electric oven), washing(220V water heater) or when the HVAC system is running(220V indoor blower and 220V outdoor heat pump), and/or the pool pump motor is running, all seems good.
Question: Do I need more than one phase coupler because I live in a mobile home with three breaker panels. One main with the meter has the heat pump and the pool equipment as well as a room addition. The sub panel inside has all lights, plugs, oven, blower, water heater, etc. And one in the garage which has a the washer dryer and a few lights and plugs. And should I use a repeater or how would I know if I need one before spending extra money?
Thanks for all your help!

One coupler should do the trick.

I'd start simple with the coupler only.  No use buying a repeater unless you really need it.

UPDATE:  I have purchased and installed a passive coupler from "SIGNALINC" and installed three powerline filters from x-10 pro.
One on an OLD power strip that by itself turned out to be a major source of powerline noise. The other two are on surge protector power strips for the wife's PC and my PC. I am very pleased to report that, with everyone's help and Jeff's troubleshooting guide(s), I have had a working system for one whole week so far. :)% Now I am ready to expand!  THANK YOU to EVERYONE even Dan!  >!

P.S. I am using AHP 3.236
P.S.S. Jeff's Trouble Shooting Tips have become my X10 Bible. :)% #:)
