yo gang;
I have an RCA 2.3" LCD camera with an audio/video jack and like to wire an X 10 cam to it.  Manual with this info @ http://support.radioshack.com/support_video/doc48/48394.pdf

In the camera's original printed Manual RCA advises using a Radio Shack RSU 162324 cable to make the hook-up, but Radio Shack does not list this part number now; and in the above Link for same camera, it says to use RSU 10005890 cable but that is not listed by Radio Shack either.

any other sources or idea?
TIA
Be well!

As you did, I noticed RadioShack does not carry the product listed in the manual for RCA 2.3" pocket TV to hook up the little TV to a camcorder or VCR or cable box, ect.

I found two solutions that worked.  ::)

One was this:
Radio Shack
3-Ft. Gold Series Stereo Y-Cable, Phono Plugs to 1/8" Jack

$7.49
  Model: 42-2550
Catalog #: 42-2550

Even though it says for audio only, I plugged the red cable into the yellow audio out, and the white into the white audio out on my cable box and got very clear audio and video on the little TV.

The other solution, which I actually tried first, was to use the 1/8" jack to phono plugs (white for audio and yellow for video) from my Sony camcorder. This also gave me a great signal.

The 1/8" jacks on these two cables look exactly the same, except the RadioShack is Gold, so may actually give a better signal!

Thanks MAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just hooked  the Wired X 10 cam to the TV;
I used a female RCA "socket" to a "less than 1/8th male mini plug); this is a 2.5 mm plug, but close enuf to see  that it will work w a 1/8th male.

the female RCA "socket" is connected to camera's male RCA Video output cable pin
the 2.5 mm male sub-mini plug  is connected  to TV Video Input Jack

It looks like this #1427 http://www.universal-radio.com/CATALOG/parts/audadapt.html  This has correct 1/8th inch size.

But this adapter does not provide sound, so I will look for that Y this week
I believe this Radio Shack Y will work;

Model: 42-2542
Catalog #: 42-2542

A RCA 2.3" LCD TV?  That's the size of my cell phone's screen!!!!  Are you sure it's not a 23" LCD TV?
I don't SELL this stuff... BUT I sure do ENJOY using it!!!

Right Dan!  2.5" LCD; for a depiction of it see the Radio Shack Instructions for it http://support.radioshack.com/support_video/doc48/48394.pdf

Works well too!
I'll use it w/a spare wired x10 camera & 6 vdc power supply

I have the same TV. I also have another flat-panel and have used it with the X10 Video Reciever... it can make placement and aiming of X10 cameras much easier.
