Vista Home Premium - Windows cannot recognize CM15A!

Every time I plug in my CM15A to my USB on my new computer, Windows pops up the following error:
"USB Device Not Recognized
One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it..."

I have used this CM15A on my XP machine with no problems.  Now with my Vista Machine, I cannot even see it.  Any suggestions?

Problem fixed.  I removed the batteries and reinstalled them and all worked.
