In January, I posted:
Opinions and observances:
Video via my VA12A is 250% better, clearer, faster, smoother, and sharper than with my VA11A
VA12A only works when connected to a high-speed USB 2.0 port. And it needs most of the bandwidth.
VA12A works ONLY with 3.236. Video with 3.204 & 3.228 blooms and washes out to white.
AHP 3.204, 3.228, and 3.236 and the VA12A and CM15A work with Windows-7 {32bit}
The catch is that On-Alert has "issues" with 3.236 (the KR10A's signals are mis-interpreted)
Therefor, I bought a $5 PC (yard sale - $5 no kidding!) to run XP, its own AHP (3.236) & CM15A, VA12A, and all video operations (8 cameras). Separate DELL XPS running another AHP (3.228) & CM15A, Win7, for home automation.
Everything works just fine.
