I'm a newbee who recently installed a few of the WS12A's in my system.  I must say that I am less that thrilled with the "feel" of these switches when used manually.  Is there a substantial difference between these and the XPD13?  Thanks for the input!

The WS12A is closer to the X10Pro XPD3 switch. The XPDI3 is also able to control some inductive loads like small fans and low voltage transformer driven lights.
The XPDI3 also needs a Neutral power wire connection while the XPD3 and WS12A do not. All of them have a control input if you want to add a Slave Switch for a three way setup.
The WS12A and the XPD3 are basically the same unit with different labels. Some say that the X10Pro line is tested more at the factory. I believe they may also have a longer warranty.
All of them now have Soft Start and resume Dim from what I have read in the X10 wiki and X10Pro web sites Users Manuals area.

Brian has outlined the differences between the switchs. However IF your question references back to your comment on the "feel" of the switches, the answer is NO. Mechanically they "feel" the same.
