Remote will not power up

Anyone have problems with the remote powering up?  I've had mine for 2.5 days and now it will not power up.  I replaced the batteries and no luck.

Wes,,i know post a few days old, but make sure ya got batteries in right which i am sure you have. If they are fresh and in the right way get a replacement. No other choice.

Hey Wes, one more thing I found on one of other x10 products. The spring end is always the flat end of the battery. I had somethin that was marked wrong. But anyway that may not be it. Good Luck.
