let me just start with I am a newbie, but you would indeed need multiple 20amp filters or many 5amp plug in filters to cover the whole house. Also one very important thing to remember is no connections can be made inside your breaker box( against building code). I think what i did,( from advice of other more professional users of course). Buy a 20-amp filter, powerstrip without surge protection, and a metal junction box with lid. cut the wire of the powerstrip about in the middle, run ends of wires into junction box, along with wires from 20-amp filter. Hook up according to directions and then plug devices into it. So far the only signal sucking devices that were causing problems for me where my computer work stations. So for me the powerstrip option was the way to go. As for whole house filtering, i think that is impossible as you would be filtering before the power reached the problem components, instead of blocking the problem from the wall outlet.
