I was wondering if x-10 has a camera that will track motion and follow the target as long as it is being detected. and if so what componets would you use to set this up.

X10 originated the "record only the action" home security cameras. Check out the Ninja (robotic mounts) they have four programable locations. Using AHP (active Home Pro and it's software suite) motion sensors, a video adapter, two or three ninjas and cameras and maybe a VCR Commander ought to do it.
