LM465 and Remotes
« on: February 21, 2009, 11:53:29 PM »

Why is it I can control my LM465 from AHP but I can't control it from any of my Remotes? I've tried my Palm Pad Remote HR12A, My Security Remote SH624 and my Slim Line Wall Switch SS13A, they all show activity in AHP (The "Switch" moves) but no lights...... I have other LM465's set up and they work with the remotes. I have even tried a different module with NO luck. The remotes use to work on this light but now they don't,  ??? Why is this?

Have you checked AHP's Hardware Configuration settings to make sure the house code of the remotes is checked under Tranceived House Codes?

In the real world, the only constant is change.

When I'm online you can find me in the Home Automation Chat Room!

Thanks Bill.... It wasn't checked..

But now my other LM465 that was working via remote stopped, It's on the same House Code as the other just a different Unit Code......  >*<

I can get my remotes to do a ON and OFF command, but NO Dim or BRIGHT......

Do the modules go on slowly as the new modules use Soft Start and act differently than the older ones that go full on then dim down on a dim command.

When AHP was not set to tranceive the remotes signals. What device was? Like you mentioned a security console. It will also tranceive remotes on its security house code. Maybe now both are and stepping on each other. Though the CM15A is supposed to be polite and wait.
