Does anyone have a good way to remove the Door/Window Sensors?

That 3M tape is  >*< stubborn!!!

We are in the process of moving (buying a house.. it's bigger...  :' Which means MORE X10 stuff) so I have to take all my X10 stuff down, and in the past have had problems removing the sensors.

Heat the surface more than the sensor, shouldn't take too much to make it loose, not enough to be a fire hazard. Heat a little, jiggle a little, repeat.

beelocks

Pry off the sonsors breaking the bond on the tape which just leaves the sticky mess on the woodwork.

Rubbing alcohol and a rag - soak the tape down and allow to dry, soak down and rub a little, soak and rub, repeat as nesessary.

Or Goon Gone, but that leaves an oily mess.
Although my explanations may not be exactly clear, I do hope for slightly less cloudy.

beelocks thanks for the reply.. But  if you just pry the sensors off they seperate and you have one part in your hand and the other still stuck on the door.....
