Problems with AHPro, CM15 and SW11
« on: April 14, 2009, 02:24:37 PM »

Hi,

I see this setup on another topic for control a Curtain Controller and works ok.

My curtain controller is on 11 Device Code.

The problem is when I try setup another curtain on 12 Device Code it doesn't work.

I already try to change Command Byte 0x03 (device 11) to 0x0B (device 12, I think) and always the same it doesn't work.

I try to folow this table

Housecode   Device Code   Binary Value   Hex Value
   A      1      0110      6
   B      2      1110      E
   C      3      0010      2
   D      4      1010      A
   E      5      0001      1
   F      6      1001      9
   G      7      0101      5
   H      8      1101      D
   I      9      0111      7
   J      10      1111      F
   K      11      0011      3
   L      12      1011      B
   M      13      0000      0
   N      14      1000      8
   O      15      0100      4
   P      16      1100      C

Is possible change the percentage of dim? 25% 50% 75%. How can i make that?

I think 0x06 Dim by 6/22*100% = 27% - 0x0b Dim by 11/22*100% = 50% is this correct?

Can you help me please?
Thank you in advance

Since the screen shot you provided was in Spanish, I presume you are NOT in the US or Canada.

Actually, s/he could be in the US, just using his native language (it's Portuguese, not Spanish, BTW) to name his stuff. I don't believe AHP limits the data entry language as long as the language doesn't contain non-ASCII characters, but then again, it may if you change the Windows locale/language (haven't tried it, but all well written programs should respect what the host OS tells them to accept.)

RAN - Do you do it from the same macro? or a different one? If it's the same, you may want to add a delay between the devices.

The screen is in Portuguese.

I like to make another macro of other room.
The problem is I don't know how to make that...

The picture as an error. Alll the codes are I11 and not A1

I dont understand  this numbers
Can you explain Data byte 0x06, 0x0C and 0x12 is used for what?

Thank you for your help.

We need to know the exact model number of your curtain controller.  Is it the SW10 ? (http://www.intellihome.be/manuals/sw10.pdf)

If so, have you initialized it according to the above manual?

If you have set the address of the controller to I12, then the following extended codes should work:
  Address    Command byte   Data byte
     I12             0x03                 0x00             ->   Close curtain
     I12             0x03                 0x06             ->   Open curtain 25%
     I12             0x03                 0x0C             ->   Open curtain 50%
     I12             0x03                 0x13             ->   Open curtain 75%
     i12             0x03                 0x19             ->   Open curtain 100%

(With command byte 0x03, setting the data byte to a value between 0-25 (0x00-0x19) should open the curtain between 0-100%)

If the model is in fact a SW10 and the above doesn't work after the initialization, then it's possible you have a phase or signal attenuation problem on the AC power line where the controller is connected.

RAN,
Try this:
If your S3160 is set to address I12, use AHP to define an imaginary appliance module at I13, i.e., S3160 address + 1.
Use AHP to turn the imaginary appliance module On and Off.

Is there any response from the S3160 when you do this?

Hi,

If I use I13 another curtain is open.

The problem when I use S3160 with this codes 0x00, 0x06, 0x0C, 0x03,  0x13, 0x03 or 0x19 is only open 10%

I think I need to extend this code some way but I don't know how.

Have you tried increasing the data byte to values greater than 0x19 ?

The major problem here is that the use of extended codes for neither the SW10 nor S3160 is documented by their respective manufacturer.   They were discovered to work for the Marmitek SW10 by just trying the Shutter codes in X10's Extended Code document.

The S3160 is apparently a product of the S10 company (http://www.s10.cn/).
Contact them (info@sn.cn), and explain you are trying to get the S3160 to work with X10 extended codes as does the Marmitek SW10 Shutter/Curtain Controller and mention your 10% results.

Perhaps they will be more cooperative in this regard than either X10 or Marmitek has been.
