Vanguard and Windows 98
« on: April 17, 2009, 06:08:30 PM »

I tried Vanguard with Windows Vista and it worked, but I want to use an old unit with Windows 98 for recording and it doesn't seem to work.

No.... I wouldn't think it would. Whereas Win98 was certainly a fine OS... it was fine.. a very long time ago.

I use a Home Automation Computer myself. And.. I am very proud that I have been able to do so on an old (rescued from the trash) PC. I am using a P3, I upgrade with it with more RAM I purchased from a flea market, and loaded XP on it. But it has limits... and Vanguard is right there at the edge of them. So far... I haven't been able to make it work.
