Re-posted here in Troubleshooting:

My ghost modules weren't triggering the Macro Off. I did a search in the Troubleshooting section and found this http://forums.x10.com/index.php?topic=16343.0. I changed my ghost modules from Lamp Modules to Appliance Modules and everything is functional. I ran 6 series of tests on a variety of modules (setting all of the ghosts from Appliance Modules) and all is well.

Why do the Appliance Modules function as ghosts but the Lamp Modules wouldn't?
