DX7000 Dailing 0's or mumbo jumbo...

Got one. Dialed 0's and mumbo jumbo. Returned it for another and and same thing.  Thought it was a MagicJack issue. Figured the heck with the warrany and opened her up (the. dx7000). Sloppy soldering inside escpecially near the RJ11 phone jack. Seperated the solder that was crossinh the wires and molding them together and now it works great. Just an FYI,

So you were able to modify the ds7000 to interface with magicjack?  I assumed after doing some research that the tones emitted from the ds7000 were too low for the Magicjack, a common issue with magicjack and some phones.  If the issue is bad soldering that's some wonderful detective work, THANKS!

H-u-u-m-m, two in a row? That does not speak well of X10 factory end of line tests and QA/QC.

I wanted to tie up this loose end. Yes, the MagicJack and the DX7000 work fine together now since fixing the soldering in the DX7000 to this day. :)%
