Pre-Programming Modules not installed yet?
« on: July 04, 2009, 07:40:57 PM »

I decided to bring my laptop to work today and set up my AHP for what I WILL be installing. Some of the devices are already there but I have about 23 more devices to install. Will it be a problem to download to the CM15A (no macros for what's not installed) the devices that aren't installed or will it freak it out. I don't think it checks module status as far as is it in the system or not. I'd like to be able to just put them in as they come in and hit my remote to test them.

You can make phantom modules in AHP with an address like B6 but no timers or macros attached, later you can get the appropriate physical module (say a lamp module) set the same address as the phantom module and add timers and macros as needed.

Excellent. I was hoping I could. Time to download.
