I've been using the older (the non pro version) since 2000 and just got the new interface & active home pro.

The old software let me set times for more than 1 hour before/after dusk/dawn this one dose not.

It looks like if I edit the saved file I can modify the DawnDelay or dusk delay up to about 166 minutes DawnDelay="99900000000", but I'll have to experiment with what time means what, because  "11100000000" is 18 minutes and  "10000000000" is 1

could this be added back in?

What version of AHP did you get?  I have timers that give up to 90 minutes before or after dusk/sunrise.
I don't SELL this stuff... BUT I sure do ENJOY using it!!!

version 3.286 the older (non pro) didn't have this limitation either.

playing with the file has not worked yet either. It looks correct but the one time I tried it triigered at about sunset, not 90 minutes before.

which version do you have?

3.286 must not be a US version of AHP as the last current version is 3.228 by update and the buggy 3.236 is available from the X10 Software Repository at http://software.x10.com/pub/applications/activehome/  and should be avoided.

sorry, I misread it. I have the buggy 3.236 version

did the previous one support more than a 60 minute offset?

thanks

Dan Lawrence

See my post that you replied to and get rid of 3.236.   As to length of timers, one hour seems to be the max in any version of AHP.

I downgraded, and you seem to be correct.
I can edit the file to get times greater than 1 hour and the times look correct.  But they don't seem to work!

In the older (pre pro version) you were able to do more than 1 hour.

I wonder why they lowered the limit and if there is any chance of getting put back.

thanks

Dan Lawrence

AHP has always had a max of 1 hour on or off.   I've had AHP since 2005 and one hour is the max offset in a timer it will allow.  My only use of a 1 hour offset is the night light in the bathroom. The timer turns it on 45 minutes before dusk and off 1 hour after sunrise.

I presume you know for timers to operate they have to be uploaded to the CM15A.
