No.

It (the PSC01) is a Powerflash Security Interface, not a phase coupler. If you have an electric dryer, X10 makes a coupler that plugs into the dryer outlet.
I don't SELL this stuff... BUT I sure do ENJOY using it!!!

What's it called?

It's not from X10, it is from Smarthome.com

This is the repeater, the coupler is a little cheaper, but it does not amplify.

I solved the problem by digging out an old TM751 and plugging the stereo into it, and changed the housecode to a new one separate from any of my other stuff. The stereo is snapping on and off from AHP now, and I can time it to come on and off by itself.

Thanks for the link. I have a 4-pin dryer plug and may buy the corresponding coupler for it. I always thought this had to be done by an electrician at the main fuse box; didn't know it could be so simple as a plug!

I was experiencing poor signal reach so I purchased an XPCR X10 PRO Signal Amplifier Coupler Repeater.

I shut off the Main Breaker in my Electrical Panel.

Connected the colored leads per the simple instructions (Red, Black, White) to an appropriate breaker.

Buttoned everything back up and turned Main back on.

Checked the system and wow! Signals wall to wall from upstairs to basement and out to garages.

It was on Ebay for slightly over $10 USD!!

try the cap on your clothes dryer plug instead or between the red and black wires of your kitchen counter plugs if it`s wired this way.

Mary had a little lamp, little lamp, controlled by X10 !!!! (kid song!!)
