automatic macros and timers
« on: August 02, 2009, 09:36:46 PM »

hi to everyone

I`m a new X10 user but i work in the automation and electrical for a few years before and i have a setup of Radio Shack 2005 modules wich works perfectly with the older version of the mini timer (one with led display).

i recently bought an AHP (version 3.228 on win Vista)  starter kit and when i try to put timers on my modules it never works?

if i use it manually with the remotes and the mini timer, even with the GUI AHP interface it works perfectly but when i put timers on it nothing !!

I ask X10 support and they tell me it`s a noise problem but i`m not sure about that because it works manually.

i read in the forums and all my module type are LM14A and i remove all my date range in my timers (jan 1 to jan1 bug) and it change anything.

Can anybody help me because i`m close of asking for a refund
Thanks for your help !!!!!

Check my above link on "issuing on instead of bright 100%".

There's a lot more info if you search on that subject.

IT FINALLY WORKS !!!!!!!

the problem was an incompatibility between the extended codes and my older modules (radio shack 2005).

I simply rename all my modules WLS 467 wall switches and it solves the problem. Now i can do what i want with my timers.

I find the problem when i start the activity monitor. When i open it, and trigger modules with my remote, i see normal codes transmitted and when i use the macros, i see exended codes, so i change the module type to find one who transmits normal codes and it finally works !!!!

I hope it will help someone who had problems
