CM15A vs CM19a...
« on: August 17, 2009, 07:08:23 PM »

We have been programming functionality for our X10 devices through the CM15a module. In some X10 sales adds I have seen a CM19a wireless device.

Having looked at both, am I correct in that the difference between the two transceivers are that the CM15a sends messages out through the home wiring while the cm19A sends them out wireless? If looks like they both receive wireless messages...

They both send and receive wireless, but only the CM15A sends and receives power line signals.

In the real world, the only constant is change.

The CM15A also can have timers and macros stored in it and have the computer disconnected or off.

When does the CM15A transmit wireless?

When you tell it to.  E.g., select the TM751 transceiver and click the On button in the icon.  You can also program RF commands in macros.

Yesterday it worked.
Today it doesn't work.
X10 on Windows is like that.
