Active home pro locks , won't start

Active home pro locks up on my computer, won't even start. It was working, I tried to uninstall it and reinstall it but it still locks up. Ran great from 2005 to 1/09. Loaded Home Online and Security solution plug-in 11/08, worked fine for 2 months now NOTHING. It does nothing. Use task mgr to kill, makes computer a bit unhappy. I need serious help. Tried everything.

Just curious... did you do a restore back to a date when everything worked fine?

No I didn't. It's been so long now and I just ignored it until now. I'm worried about all the other software I've installed since. But I want to get it going again, have a substantial investment in x10 products and want to put them back to work.
